Downtown MNIC, located in the Education Wing of Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church, (511 Groveland Ave), offers the same individualized programs as other sites. The beautiful site is a few blocks from Downtown and right on Lyndale, on the other side of the Lyndale/Hennepin Avenues from the Walker Art Center. The site has a gymnasium, plus close access to soccer and athletic fields.

 

MNIC creates individualized programs for students based on credit accumulation and skill level. To meet so many levels within our four small school sites, we create courses and learning experiences (like internships and service learning opportunities) that emphasize academic integration. These all meet state standards.

 

We remain open so that our students can still access our services and food program.
