The Minnesota Charter School Board of Education is a group of deeply committed persons. We are in the
fourth year of serving students, and our Board represents our communities, staff and family. The Board approves policy matters and the budget of MNIC. Click here to see

MNIC has a waiver from the Minnesota Department of Education to have a Board without a teacher majority because of the strong commitment to community. The waiver stipulates that the Board contain three certified MNIC teachers, three at large staff members (this can mean teachers or other staff members), and three members representing the communities served by MNIC..
